You gasp. Grief. Fear. Is this really happening? Yes. On 9/11, I watched the news as they talked about what was happening. Behind the newscasters chatting away, I saw a second plane crash into the World Trade Center.

In Revelation 8, we have a very serious moment. It is the moment before the beginning of spiritual judgment.

Has God ever spoken to you, warned you, chastened you, encouraged you, taken you a new direction, grown you, comforted you, shown you His love--through the calamities happening in the world around you? What did God say to you? What is God saying to you now? How will you respond?

Let’s take our own moment of silence, set 1 minute on your phone timer, and let sit before God and listen.

*** A Prayer: Lord, thank You, for moments of silence. Help me to spend more time silent before you. Please speak to me in these moments. I pray for Your protection over Your people. I especially lift up ___ to you today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
