The Aboriginal people's respect for the land and my visit to Australia inspired this piece. Their folk tales talk about walking "softly" on the land. That idea is the foundation for this series.
When God created the earth and everything in it, He claimed it as good and gave man dominion over it. He called us to be good stewards of the land, yet we have endangered our environment. Perhaps the Aboriginal people understood this more than modern man.
